Ce modèle s’inscrit dans la tradition des pipes harponnées où le corps de la pipe symbolise souvent un animal aquatique. En plus de la grande courbe très visuelle constituée par la corne d’impala, une des particularités réside dans le fait que le passage de fumée soit horizontal à travers le tube de la flèche en laiton pour déboucher dans la pointe de la flèche : le tuyau.
Tout est fonctionnel, prévu pour un entretien simplifié avec une longue chenillette. L’empennage et le tasse-braise sont amovibles. Le bol en bruyère est scellé dans la corne. Un socle avec une cible permet d’exposer cette grande pipe.
